At Infinium we know that you are more than the contents of your resume. We use various tools to assess our candidates’ skills and qualifications.


The Process

HOW WE RECRUIT FOR POTENTIAL
We invest a great deal in all our people. So hiring the right person is really important to us. That’s why we have put in place a defined recruitment process, where we can test your skills and potential, but where you can also get to know us and the way we work. Here’s a quick outline of the process; if you decide to apply to Infinium, we wish you well.
 
Step 1
Apply Online

Apply Online

This is the only way to apply to us. As soon as you click apply, you’ll be asked to fill in our online application form, which includes a number of questions to test your motivation and fit for our business. Don’t rush this stage. Make sure you put yourself across in the best possible way.

Step 2
First Interview

First Interview

You will meet some of our senior managers during a competency-based face-to-face interview. Go to our tips page to make sure you are prepared for the interview.

Step 3
Assessment Day

Assessment Day

We hold an assessment day for everyone who passes the interview, although some of our offices prefer to start the process with Assessment Day. Expect challenging questions and scenarios, numerical and psychometric tests as well as real-life trading tests.

Step 4
Offer

Offer

If you impress us at the assessment day, we will make an offer to you to join our team as soon as we can.


Campus Recruiting

Infinium generally hires two training classes, in January and June, each year. Applications are due at least one month prior, though job postings should specify the exact date.
We typically recruit on campus at the following schools:

Training Classes Cycle

The hiring process is structured as a 3 month unpaid training program, from which we hire our salaried traders. Traders are then paid a salary with monthly performance-based bonus opportunities. Applying to Infinium - Tips

Here are a few hints and tips on applying to Infinium:

A passion for trading
If you’re applying to become one of our traders, you need to show a real passion for trading from the moment you apply. We want to know why you are so interested in trading and what you’ve done to find out more or even to gain some experience.

Always be prepared
Before you come to our assessment day, think about the questions you might be asked and the answers you will give. It goes without saying that you should research Infinium and find out more about us. But always be prepared for other, quick-fire questions – where we’ll be looking for quick-thinking.

Practise interviews
You could ask a friend or relative to help you practise for an interview. Because it’s not simply about the questions you’ll be asked; it’s equally important the way you present yourself. Be smartly dressed. Look at your interviewer (not the floor). Smile. And, most of all, show your true qualities.

Be yourself
We can’t ask for more than this. Our people come from all different backgrounds, and found trading through all kinds of different routes. So, please show us who you are, and that you’ve got the disciplined approach as well as resilience and spark to be a successful trader.
